Further on Soul Affirmation.
I AM NOT THE EMOTION,
I AM NOT THE THOUGHT.
CARPENTER IS NOT THE FURNITURE.
Emotions and thoughts are product of the Soul.
Let us dwell on these points.
Carpenter is not the furniture. But by the quality of the furniture, you can know the SKILL,DEDICATION AND EFFORT of the Carpenter.
In this connection
Master said several times "From the fruit shall know the tree".
"Thoughts and Emotions are the Seed. Words and actions are the Fruit". "Watch what you think and what you feel?"
I AM NOT THE MIND.
MIND IS ONLY A SUBTLE INSTRUMENT OF THE SOUL.
When Master refers to Mind, it includes Mental, Emotional and Physical bodies.
I AM A SPIRITUAL BEING OF DIVINE INTELLEGENCE, DIVINE LOVE AND DIVINE POWER.
This is where we are identifying our self as the Incarnated Soul (Jiv-Atma).
I AM (Spiritually) CONNECTED AND ONE WITH MY HIGHER SOUL (Atma).
For every Incarnated Soul there is one Higher Soul. In other words Higher Soul extends a small portion of itself as one Incarnated Soul.
I AM THAT I AM (SO HUM)
Master said " there is a micro I AM and Universal I AM".
For one, who is on the Path, I AM THAT I AM refers to oneself trying to identify with the Higher Soul.
For the one who is already experiencing Oneness with the Higher Soul, "I AM THAT I AM" refers to oneself trying to identify with the Divine Spark (Param-Atma) and so on.
The relationship of a child with the mother is exactly same as the relationship of the mother with her mother. But for the child she is the grand mother.
So, "I AM THAT I AM" refers to the next higher level of identification.
I AM ONE WITH THE DIVINE SPARK (Param-Atma) WITH IN ME.
With in me, that same essence is present.
Here the Incarnated Soul is trying to identify itself with the Divine Spark.
In Indian scriptures this is referred to as "Thatwamasi".

Next higher level of identification by the Incarnated Soul ;
I AM A CHILD OF GOD (Para-Brahman), CONNECTED WITH GOD, ONE WITH GOD, ONE WITH ALL!
In Indian scriptures this is referred to as "Aham Brahmaswi"
So simply for us, Master further said " Regardless of the capacity of the Brain to experience this Truth, I am the Soul. I AM THAT I AM".
This also means; one day each one of us will actually experience this Truth. But not experiencing this Truth as of now,does not alter the reality.
We need to at least intellectually comprehend this Truth.
Remember "there is a micro I AM and Universal I AM".
